Harry spent many months undertaking safari surveys for hydro-electric schemes in Kenya for the East African Power and Lighting Company, negotiating in Madras for the Pykara Falls hydro-project, surveying Government Electricity Installations in Nigeria and visiting China on the Trans-Siberian Express to bid for the Shanghai Electricity Department, returning around the world for a second time.
