Here in Colchester we are fortunate to have a flourishing writers community. There are many established authors living in and around Colchester and some writers groups where aspiring writers as well as established authors can share ideas and find support and friendship.
Local Authors on our shelves
We have a special section in the shop dedicated to books written by talented local authors and have built lasting relationships with many Colchester writers as we work with them to promote their books. These days there are many ways to reach your readers. Gone are the days when the only way was to sign a contact with a traditional publisher. Some authors go digital and sell e-books online and there are many ways to find help to self-publish your work.
