Our writing group usually meet twice monthly, usually on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month.

The meeting takes place upstairs at Red Lion Books which, regrettably, isn’t accessible to wheelchair users. When booking please state which date you are booking for.
The group will be led but there is a side room where you can just sit and write
Please make a booking to ensure your place. There is no payment for this group currently. Instead we are suggesting a donation to Colchester Food Bank
This virtual booking is so that we know the number of attendees and can plan accordingly and provide enough seating

My 16 year old and I love coming to writing group. It’s a great opportunity to pencil in some writing time and we love going together. It’s always interesting to hear different points of view when writing from the same prompt. Looking forward to going again this week. Olive is very welcoming and is our informal host.
